I have been working at home on various mycology projects. Tissue cultures to Agar to grain to spawning to substrate. I had fun trying to isolate strains, make liquid cultures, make a laminar flow box, etc.
I can offer a willingness to clean up. I’m a nurse - I like to clean up. I also have (non-stolen) access to a great deal of sterile PPE, gloves, sleeves, gowns and such.
I would love to learn basic good lab technique - pouring agar plates, agar to agar transfers, microscopy, sequencing, culturing etc.
