I've been sending computers overseas for years (chiefly Cuba-Infomed: http://www.sld.cu/), though in the last couple of years Haiti has been the destination. I also provide food & logistical help at some movement events.
I am somewhat knowledgeable about desktop Linux & have been meaning to set up a weekly night when I am available to help others with installation and configuration (but I'm so indecisive, I'll do it soon, honest, how about Sundays?)
I'd love to learn how not to be such a schmuck, but maybe a little Arduino might be fun, too.
